NW Pool Season?! What? Oh hell no! We're not that lucky! If we have any luck at all, we are fortunate enough to find maybe 2-3 pools a year up here. And those only last a short period of time. A lot of times they are found during the rainy season and you can't skate them. When there is a craving for a good pool session, calls are made to the homies, gas money is collected, and the van is loaded and it's off to Donald, Oregon (just 25 minutes south of Portland just off the I-5). Donald is rad and it's the closest thing that we've got to a real pool. Every session is a good one. I have yet to go there and have a bad time. Rip it up. Take a break and skate to the town market for a 12 pack. Rip it up again. Then stop into the Donald Tavern for some wings and another cold brew. Good times!
