There are rules regarding cameras at Burnside. For the most part, no one cares much for them. But if you must bring one, you must fall into one or more of these categories:
1-You must skate. That means you must be one of us. No tourist pix documenting the wild life.
2- If you dont skate, you must then be a friend of someone there, and or "Ask Permission" Dont just come there and start shooting away! Be kind and ask, you may be surprised at the answer you receive from some local dirtbags.
3-Be a hot good looking chick. In that case, just about anything is a go!
Exceptions can be made, however. In this case two younger good looking ladies came and asked Osage permission to shoot a couple photographs. His reply was, "Sure". The girls acknowledged and left for a few moments only to return with about 25 others both male and female and dressed with a black and red theme. This led me to believe they were some sorta "Portland Glee Club" or something. They shot away using Burnside as their Urban backdrop while Choppy Omega blasts up and over just to give an added "Urban Feel" to their group photo. Chop Chop!!
