up here in washington and the the military town of Oak Harbor just decided to open a skatepark that has been done, yet unopened for the last year/plus. There has always been an excuse, whether it be, "we need to landscape the place", or "it's gonna be for military families only" (it's on military housing), but it's finally a go! Did i mention Dreamland built it!!! Anyways, it's sick as fuck and it's 45 minutes from Bellingham, where i live and we can stay off the I-5 the whole way there. windy ocean side roads the whole way! No Age played a show at KCDC

No Age put on a free show tonight at KCDC skateshop in Brooklyn, NY. Their set was short and sweet and the venue was pretty sick. The band played on the flat bottom of KCDC's mini ramp while about a hundred eager fans mobbed in. I got there in time to grab a a good seat. I'm also pretty sure I saw a fully-bearded Heath Kirchart there amongst the crowd. All in all it was a good time. The ramp. It was a full house. Fool was jamming out on the deck and got BLOGGED. -Jon Glass

This is a Skateboarding ticket I got skating the EMB in Sept. 97. 3 months after I moved to San Francisco. Fresh outta Montana right into the fucking jumble of SF. I miss those days of skating and not really thinking about anything else. I never ended up paying this ticket. I remember trying to call the court about it and ended up being on hold for 30 minutes only to be transfered to another person who put me on hold. After about an hour of that treatment I decided to say fuck it and take my chances. Never heard back about the $285 that I owed the city of San Francisco. I'm pretty hyped I saved this little skate souvenir. Buzzy
